Week 3 scores and highlights

Ok great news, summer is officially over. It's like it never really started this year. At least it definitely is starting to feel like football weather out there!! The other moves for week 3 were the Big Uglies picking up rb Derrick Ward and the Bay Area Bombers dropping te Kevin Boss and picking up te Vernon Davis. The player of the week was sometimes cookie commercial actor, sometimes quarterback Peyton Manning with 75 pts.

I don't know Frank, in a few weeks you might be referred to as Crash n Burn. Land Sharks were led by qb P. Manning with 75 pts with Frank's team being led by N.O. offense with 37 pts.

Gruesome Goroos 133

I think Justin and I were both surprised by this one. When Gore went down after 1 carry, he thought he was finished but my team struggled mightily. The Goroos were led by rb Jones-Drew with 61 pts with the Bombers led by qb Rodgers with 38 pts.

Orange Crush 210
Dragonriders 149

This matchup was close until Sunday night when the Colts disposed of the Cardinals. Dan's team was led by Indy's offense with 41, rb S. Jackson with 40. Mark might be starting to have an eye towards next year after his 3rd straight defeat to start the year. His team was led by Phily's offense with 44 pts.

A matchup of the few Buccaneer fans outside of Tampa!! New recruit qb Flacco and the Giants defense led the Uglies with 46 pts each. Bams struggled without a big effort from Brees this week. His leading performer was wr Desean Jackson with 47 pts.

Not much of a matchup this time. Cory had a solid effort from GB offense scoring 46 with Laurie being led by qb Carson Palmer with 20 points.

The Belugas 138

The other really close matchup of the week. At least the Belugas are showing they are consistent scoring 138 for the 2nd week in a row ( this one ended in a win). Bob's team was led by Baltimore's defense with 34 pts. Walter scored high with qb Rivers contributing 37 pts.
